Q. I get an Error message saying "Error
Number: 3633 Description: Cannot Load DLL: MSJET4x.DLL". What does that
mean?
A. Your system does not contain all the files
needed to run Job Manager. Download the Full version instead of the Compact
version. If the problem persists, you should run the following
Microsoft Jet Database Engine
Q. Can you tell me what accounting package Job
Manager can be an add on to? I am using Quick Books, is it compatible?
A. Interfaces for various accounting packages are
developed on a case-by-case basis. Common interfaces include MYOB and
QuickBooks, however the degree of integration available depends on the several
factors. Contact our sales staff regarding customising Job Manager to suit your
company's requirements.
Q. I've downloaded the demo, but it's asking for a
password. What do I use?
A. The default Username is admin and the password
is demo.
Q. Does Job Manager print out working job sheet?
A. Yes. By simply pressing Print/Save, Job Manager will print out a detailed Job
Statement.
Q. Can I organise the jobs I need to do today
using Job Manager?
A. Yes. Job Manager provides both an automatic and manual sorting
option. When you view Today's Jobs, Job Manager will sort them according to
whichever option you have selected.
Q. Can I change the User Name Admin?
A. No. All versions of Job Manager require the default ADMIN user. It is
possible and recommended that you change the default password for the ADMIN user.
Q. Can I add a new User Name?
A. Yes. All versions of Job Manager support
multiple users, however unless you purchase additional User Licenses you will
only be able to have one user logged in at any one time.
Q. When I select the "Other Date" Job
List, I receive a message saying there are no matching jobs, but I know there
are?
A. Job Manager requires a four digit year
format. To check that you have the correct format open the Regional
Settings found in the Windows Control Panel and enter the format mm/dd/yyyy
in the Short Date Style box.
Q. I Get an Error message saying "Error
Number: 430" when I try and Print out a job.
A. You need to load a MDAC update from Microsoft.
to the download site. After you have downloaded the file, double click the
mdac_typ.exe file and follow the steps to update your system.
